Just like to say Hello at the moment
I am from Scotland and have owned my KTM 950 Adventure for 2 years now the reason for my joining the Dutch forum is I visit Nederlands once or twice a year and it maybe useful to know some people from this forum and for visitors to Scotland to contact me would be most welcome I live 9 miles from Stirling in Brave heart country.
I also own a very nice 1994 XRV 750 Africa Twin which I will never sell.
If I can be of help to you please let me know.

My girlfriend and i have plans to ride to Scotland sometime, first we would go this summer but we heard that camping and visiting Scotland in the summer is a bad combination, we postponed the idea for now, until we are more experienced in motor trips and camping

Just to make any potential visitors (Scotland) aware that we are only having 1 KTM dealer in Scotland
( there was 3 )
This is due to the fact that KTM asked for something like a £30,000 indemnity in advance to be a dealer for them, now I am very confused regarding this, why would they do such a thing ?
Also the dealer that remains is the worst (the not to be trusted sort of worst ) I am now having to mail order all my parts from England. This is a little awkward as I use my bike all year round and cannot project every time I require new parts.
