Hope this isn't too inappropriate but we've contacted almost all customers by phone but their are a few stragglers out there that we haven't been able to get a hold of, hopefully this reaches them...

The Rekluse z-Start Pro clutch for the LC-8 motor uses a throw-out spacer. We had a report earlier this year of a throwout spacer that wore enough to damage the needle bearing over the throwout spacer. Fortunately, the needle bearing failure only caused damage to the clutch components and no engine components. To remedy the problem, we have gone to a throwout spacer made from harder material.

We have an update kit that includes the new, harder throwout spacer along with a new needle bearing and washer. If you have not received this kit, please contact Charles at Rekluse for the update kit. The phone number is 1-866-REKLUSE or 208-426-0659 x104. The update is free of charge.
